Have a super-duper happy weekend!

I look forward to the weekend all week long (but then again, who doesn't?)

...the husband at home with us, pancake breakfasts, and getting a little baby-free me-time :)

This is our first weekend back up north (I've been away since May), 

and this is what our back yard looks like....

We "inherited" a bunch of broken wooden furniture when we moved here, which we placed around the fire pit and planned to fix-up.... eventually. 

And the grass - oh the grass - who knew grass could even grow this tall in such a northern climate?!

Needless to say, our yard is in desperate need of some grooming! Although I don't know how we'll manage that since we don't own a lawn mower. I'll have to find out if our neighbours have one that we can borrow. 

And speaking of neighbours...

They're getting ready to set up their family teepee, and they asked us if we would mind if they set it up partly on our property (of course!!). I'm ridiculously excited to have real teepee in our back yard... and especially for all the yummy food that's going to be cooked in it!
