So we're off to Toronto this weekend for our friends wedding. I have a feeling it's going to be an incredibly gorgeous event.
Then we're going to spend the rest of the week in Montreal. I need to stock up on winter stuff, because after this trip we're going to be in the north until Christmas. I'm on the quest for the world's warmest winter boots! Any suggestions?
I hope you have a lovely weekend.

Hey! I recently just found your blog and love hearing about your life up north. I CANNOT recommend Arctic Sport Muck Boots enough. I received these for a trip to the Arctic Circle and they have been really handy during the tough winters we've been having in the North East. They comfortable, waterproof and breathable.

Sorels... all the way. And they are cute!
ReplyDeleteFUN!!! I bet its getting cold up there :)
ReplyDeleteI can't be much help with the warm boots... During my Chicago days, I usually just wore wellies with ultra fuzzy, woolly socks underneath.
ReplyDeleteSomething about that photo and the fact that you're attending reminded me of this song I think you'll like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=_Vekc-gN68M
ive never been to a fall weddin but it must be gorgeous gorgeous for the photos (and nice to not sweat bullets dancing in no A/C in the middle of august)
ReplyDeleteI dont know about exreme cold boots, my winter boots are mukluks from a vintage store and those indians knew what they were doing. but not really very water proof. I definitely recommend some huge fuzzy slippers and maybe some one piece long johns for when you're home!
Awww, hope you had a great weekend!! :)
