Every April these tiny blue flowers show their lovely faces again, and completely cover the library lawn next to my apartment... and they always melt my heart.
They are a quintessential sign of spring for me.
I just found out what they're called too - Scilla siberica - which is great to know because I will definitely be planting these beauties one day when I have a lawn of my own.
Aren't they pretty?!
ooohh...sigh...wonderful.
