What can I say, the Grand Canyon is pretty grand. It's spectacular, actually.
It's exactly how I imagined it.... minus the tour buses of people, I guess.
Despite the crowds (and this is the "low season"), the grand canyon is breathtakingly beautiful, and everyone should experience it at least once in a lifetime.
My favourite part was waking up early and watching the sun rise up over the canyon.... now that was incredible!
This morning we hit the road again and drove over to New Mexico. We're staying in Santa Fe for the next few days, and after only a few hours here I can already tell you that it's one of my favourite cities I've ever been to. More on that later!
