Weekend Moments: Half-Time Pizza Party

 As you all know, this weekend was the Superbowl. I'm not much of a football fan, but I do love a good excuse to get together with friends and share some delicious food!

Of course, we made guacamole,
 and Pioneer Woman's jalapeno poppers... what a treat!

 My husband came up with the idea of having a make-your-own-pizza night (provided I whip up some homemade pizza dough)... so that's what we did, and it was so much fun!

I made the dough earlier in the afternoon while the husband chopped all the veggies & pizza toppings. This way we were all ready to go for our half-time pizza party!
At half-time, we fired up the oven and everyone designed their own personalized pizza. I had so much fun watching everyone's unique pizza-making style.



 (that arugula & artichoke one was mine... it was delicious!)
Everyone had a blast, and everyone swore that their pizza was the best... I guess we'll never know for sure!

    Good job! the arugula & artichoke one was the one that really caught my eye! you are making me soooo hungry, why is there no food here??
    I ate SOO much guacamole Saturday, I swear, I could eat avocados every day.

    That looks like so much fun- what a great idea- I don't think I've done make your own pizza since I was a kid and my mom used to make it- We do a lot of make your own sushi parties and even did a make your own Pho dinner- fun.
    I am totally going to do this soon- the monkeys would love it too!

    Make your own pizzas is the best idea ever for a group! How fun. I can't believe you made your own dough too - very impressive! I always use the betty crocker mix ;)
