It was 5 degrees today - that's practically tropical for Montreal in February.
And I should have been happy, but I wasn't.
It was just one of those days.
But I forced myself out of my cloud of self-pitty and out of my apartment to go for a walk. It was the last thing that I felt like doing but I knew I had to do it.
And as I walked through the dirty melting snow and rain and overcast skies, I saw beautiful sights, and I somehow felt better. Sometimes a change of scenery is really all it takes to cure a bad mood.

Those hearts are really pretty. I cannot even imagine what 5 degrees feels like. Good for you for getting outside though!
I absolutely love those hearts!!! To be honest I'd be a lil freaked out if I suddenly turned the corner and saw giant hearts but then the aww would follow. =) I hope tomorrow is a better day for you!! It's Friday!! =)

I hear you... I hate February because I feel like it's a month long bad mood. I'll try to get in a walk tomorrow and see how it goes, connecting with nature does help though...

Those immense hearts are amazing. Well worth the cold walk.
I'm glad you were refreshed lady. I hope all is well :)
I love these hearts! I can't imagine 5 degrees. I thought it was cold here. Glad you could get out though.
A Whole Lotta Love, Adrienne
We are into the home stretch now...it will be spring before you know it.....getting outside really helps even when it's dreary......
Glad the walk helped lift your mood; getting outside always helps when I'm in a funk, too. Thanks for sharing these beautiful views with us - I especially like the one with those incredible icicles!
