Friday night was a girlie sleepover with some of my oldest, dearest friends... it was very appropriately filled with gossip & giggles, chocolate macarons, Martha's maple baked brie, pyjamas, and one too many pink drinks.
Saturday was a total write-off, I basically slept all day, and all night.
On Sunday I recuperated and vowed to eat healthy again
I discovered that if you light a candle while chopping onions, you don't cry.
(apparently all those irritating gases get burned up by the flame)
I hope you had a replenishing weekend.

Looks like SO MUCH fun!
Wow, your sleepover sounds like so much fun! I kind of had a sleepover this weekend, my friend was in town and we had a fun girl night on Thursday but then I got sick and all the other plans fell through. And what is that grapefruit salad dish? Looks soooo good!
The salad was a "cleansing salad" I invented after all those pink martinis!
It's made of quinoa, arugula, pink grapefruit slices, sunflower & sesame seeds, and lemon juice + olive oil.... it was delicious and very refreshing!
those macarons look so delicious! this looks like the perfect weekend!
what precious pics to have of your weekend!
THANK YOU for the onion trick. I beg my husband to do it b/c I can't even handle it!
Love the PJ shots - sounds so fun!
Your weekend sounded fantastic! I've got to remember to try the candle and onion trick next time I'm cooking!
Cheers sweetie!
