Weekend Moments: An Eating Extravaganza!

 This weekend was full of wining & dining... that's basically all we did!

On Friday night we went to Montreal's famously indulgent Quebecois restaurant, Au Pied de Cochon.

It makes me feel full just thinking about it.... but it was magnifique!

On Saturday I turned 29... yikes! I'm getting up there!

I love that my mother still bakes me a cake, and that she found 100% beeswax birthday candles.

 I was spoiled with flower deliveries on my big day, and although I was feeling a bit old, I definitely felt loved.

 My dear friend Brianna had us over for a delicious birthday brunch. 

Man, can that girl cook! (ps: she has an amazing recipe blog, which you should definitely check out)

 On an unrelated note, my friend Anna bought this incredible vintage record player that has a built-in bar.... how cool is that!? (I love the mirrored bottom!)

 She also had her Christmas tree still shining bright, with actual real candles on its branches... dangerous, perhaps, but oh so magical!

Finally on Sunday we went out for Brunch yet another time, this time at Leméac, and it was fabulous! I think it might be my new favourite Montreal restaurant.

And now I have to kickstart my new years resolution to start exercising, so I can work-up my appetite again!!
