Montreal is in a heat wave and we are burning, burning.
I find myself in this persistent dreamlike state.
Reality feels as hazy as the thick, humid air.
It's too hot for anything but sleeping, but it's even too hot to sleep.
There is something so ethereal about intense summer heat. It feels almost meditative.

That quote is absolutely perfect to explain summer. I'm in the heat wave too underneath you guys in NY! I feel like a zombie lately from the heat...I hope it breaks soon!!!
That quote is spot on. It is HOT where I am too. I can't understand why we love it and hate it so much.
love that quote- i will gladly suffer through the heat. even in texas- it is divine. :)
the painting is gorgeous, too!! those colors are really pretty!
hope you are doing well! :)
True... but I love summer. I'll take a hot day over a gloomy wintery one anyday. But don't you have air conditioning where you are, including at home?
So true! It's nice, but not really. It's burning up in VA as well. I have tried to stay indoors, who knew I could appreciate AC soo much? Stay cool!!
It has been much hotter than were used to here in london recently and im telling you it has seriously zapped ALL my energy and im eating much more ice cream than i should hehe!
I love that first picture, its firey, however I can't complain about the summer I'm having over here, it's just prefect--jealous??
Xoxo

Ugh, I hate that... humidity makes me feel so drowsy but I can't sleep at the same time. But then summer is my favorite season... hope it cools down for you!
