This weekend we drove out to the country to visit my parents.
I love how old everything is out there.
We stopped on the side of the road to buy freshly picked strawberries.
Oh how I love fresh strawberries!
The roof came off our old jeep and I drove down the country roads with the wind in my hair.
The fields were overgrown with wildflowers, and it was magical to walk through.
Back in the city, we had 4 hungry boys staying with us (my husband's friends were in town for the Montreal Grand Prix). ... so we cooked up some grand breakfasts...
We had to go to the farmer's market twice to restock the fridge!
And then everyone went their own ways, and it was just me & the hubs again... and it was nice to have some down time just the two of us.
