This weekend was busy.... they often seem to be that way lately. But there were many lovely, relaxed moments nonetheless...
We drove for 6 hours from Montreal to Toronto for our friends' wedding. I love road trips!
No (Canadian) road trip is complete without Tim Hortons
It rained & rained & rained and the peonies drooped down in their new heaviness.... I thought it was beautiful.
and then the sun came out and they opened right up in all their glory
After a long night of drinking & dancing at our friend's beautiful wedding, I recuperated by watching the stormy waves of Lake Ontario crash against the shore.
I bought a new moisturizer with spf in it from Clinique, and received this gorgeous retro Milly cosmetic bag for free (the gift also came with an adorable key chain with a mini lipstick & gloss on it... so very cute!)
We drank sangria on a patio at lunch time (oh how I love summer living!)
I passed a bakery that was selling World Cup cookies!
And finally I soaked up lots & lots of sun (wearing my new spf face cream, of course!)

Looks like a great time. I grew up 30 minutes outside of Montreal, and it's so beautiful up there. Glad you had a great weekend! And that Clinique moisturizer and bag make me mad jealous!
